Avoiding therapy is actually basic self-defense

I've been pondering about seeking mental health treatment to maybe get some help in coping but I always run into the same block which causes me to repulse the idea.

- Going to therapy as a depressed, unhappy reject will brand you as a volatile subject to be controlled by people acting as caretakers
- Mental health care isn't intended to be honest about matters to the patient but to make him feel better and be safer for others to be around
- Avoiding being controlled by others in favor of maximum freedom is basic human nature

I am in therapy rn and it is shit

literally told me bunch of useless psychology knowledge and said to think more positive kek
exactly what I thought it would be
the thought that some normie, overly socialized foid could provide me real guidance is absurd.
meds is the only measure that could theoretically make a positive change I bet.
I need secks
Yes

COPE

Itz not worthy, brocel. I went for a year (paid by a relative) and its just someone trying to sugar coat everything and make you feel good. I would go high af with my eyes red and if she asked i said i was crying before session :smonk:

I'm very much considering going to CBT for my OCD. They all know I have it anyway and it's quite similar to the strategies I've developed myself.

I do agree though that some mental health diagnoses can later be weaponised against the patient.

They give you antidepressants like they were candies.

I see. And true.
They give you antidepressants like they were candies.
Which castrate you physically and mentally (They make you more submissive)
Tbh I'm on the fence on meds. It's the only thing that could theoretically help me if they work as advertised.

This is my concern. It sounds dangerous to voluntarily give out psycological insight like that.

They made me fat and suicidal. Works for some but not for me.

the therapist has most likely fornicated and had friends to do things with, how can he relate ?
just give me the pills.

Therapy can vary vastly depending on the therapist.

Personally I never had to take meds, but I know that there are multiple risks involved particularly with antidepressants (They can make one suicidal or more depressed). I truly hope the best for you brocel.
