Many troons apparently get turned on at the thought of imagining themselves being little girls—it’s called autopedophilia.
I’m starting to think that something is being put in our food and drinks that’s causing men to develop this. (AB/DL stands for “adult baby/diaper lover.” Very similarly, DDLG stands for “daddy dom/little girl, a sexual relationship where the dominant male is the daddy figure and a woman plays the role of a young girl.”)

Doesn't it make sense? There is something wrong with you in terms of your sexuality in one way, so it's likely there is also something wrong with you in other ways.

Anyway, my completely unfounded speculation is that ABDL lacked care in their childhood, for example because they did not have a nuclear family, so they seek being a child again who this time is "cared for" as a fetish. If that's true it might not be something put in our food, but still something which did not exist that strongly in older times.

I think it also stems from the fact that many troons/pooners have hobbies that are not that of stereotypical male or female interests and a lot of them are autistic as well.

Because of this, they often think however mistakenly that they would fit in better from a social standpoint by LARPing as the opposite sex even though it is impossible to change sex no matter what somebody wears, what HRT they take or what surgeries they have.

I think autism is correlated with it. Autists don't know social rules that well, so they mostly exhibit genetic, but not acquired sexual differences. So I think autism might actually be part of the root cause making people have fewer sexually dimorphic traits and thus making them lean into being a troon or seeing themselves as "agender". I don't think it's too much about hobbies, but more about the personality and people erroneously regard themselves as not being their gender.

For example, I am/was writing with a woman who considers herself maybe agender and autistic, but clearly shows all the major differences to men like having a low libido, hating porn, doing some handicraft and not playing video games just because she doesn't wear makeup and doesn't care too much for fashion. However, this IMHO just means that she doesn't respond to peer pressure as strongly and doesn't make her agender. Other than that, we actually have quite some common traits like being introverts which makes us both seem "different" to others.

So if you don't look careful, you can make the conclusion "I am different and not like my own sex" to think that you might fit better to the other gender.

Yes. Exactly. Paraphilias cluster. Troons, homosexuals, people into animals, etc. won’t usually just have one particular abnormal fetish, they’ll have several or eventually develop them altogether
