I may not be diagnosed Autistic but fiagnosed ADHD OCD and SA so I think that already is enough to say that as a non NT the one thing I learned (and yes it still happens sometimes at work) but the best thing you can do is to simply not speak to humans at all.
Speak as little to people at all. Makes you very lonely.
But at least being treated as the quite kid is better then treated as rhe weirdo or creep or Jester.
Also dont move. Be in a constant state of "freeze" dont make weird moves or look side ways. Do not look people into the eyes straight look sideways. Look slightly sideways if you got Social Anxiety, dont look people straight into the eyes.
And IF it happens that you are confronted like this as a LTN or Sub5 do not say that you did it. Because people have cameras everywhere now.
