I was in bed thinking about childhood years and remembered very fondly of a few social groups for autistic children that I attended quite often throughout my youth. It was almost like school but more fun. I recall one for social skills, cooking class, sex-ed and hygeine and some summer ones. Such programs don't really exist now. The last I'd "went" to was digital but even then, the foundation closed down. They helped me get a job.

The autistic social group I received at school was being publicly humiliated at the back of the class by being forced to sit on an isolated desk with a personal teacher who would then dictate all my actions, this was continued for years, hell

Those exist around where I live, but I never really went to one
