When I went to a private Catholic school the nuns and spic teachers thought I was autistic and threw me in the sped class. I’m glad my mom didn’t believe in that shit (the doctors didn’t believe it either) and she transferred me to a public school where they gave me a normal standard education

i did not get my diagnoses until my late teen years so no. this also seem to be more of a American thing, seen similar for different conditions.

Thankfully no, but I've met autists who would probably make the people here seem like chads by comparison, they are the teachers pet types of autists. I stopped going to autistic adult events because of them.

Now that I think about it those might be the ones that come from these autism moms. Maybe I should be glad that at least I have enough honor to rage at the emasculating and infantilizing treatment that I've received rather than be like these autists who are perfectly content with being a manchild because it doesn't break any technical rules.
