The way he pauses and starts talking in an obnoxious quirky tone of voice and bursts out laughing to himself to signal that the audience is supposed to find this funny is 1:1 exactly like my dad. Notably this type of autist genuinely understands these performative theatrics to be what constitutes "humor" and not the actual substance of what you're saying and in this particular instance the crowd was left completely baffled and confused since he obviously said nothing funny or interesting. In reality humor is best delivered completely flat and if you have to do any of these gimmicks where you signal to the audience that they're supposed to laugh you are just painfully fucking unfunny
