I've noticed a lot of people here take incel traits and apply them to their absolute extremes. I mention I support capitalism and free markets, but I also support lockdowns in a pandemic. This is not contradictory, because in the real world there is a multitude of variables that sometimes makes different actions neccesary. I can both
A) Believe free market economics leads to the most efficient outcome and optimal production of goods\
and
B) Believe during national emergencies, such as in the case of war, pandemics, natural disasters, etc... there is a need for government intervention.
An autistic brain has a hard time understanding this, they are so focused on one ideology and its preceps that they fail to consider holistic world-views or other equally important domains.
Here's another example:
FORCED-FEEDING:
I wrote against the forced-feeding of Dan Crews. Medical experts forcefully tried to keep him alive against his will by using feeding tubes. I wrote about how that was a violation of his human rights and medical autonomy, and there was no justification for that.
However, I was one of the BIGGEST advocates of FORCED-FEEDING during the Iraq war. I strongly supported judges granting GITMO guards and medical personal the right to use forced-feeding to stop the hunger-strikers. I also supported forced-feeding in ADX against hunger-strikers and in regular politically charged situations. Forced-feeding is an excellent weapon against domestic terror groups who are attempting to use hunger-strikes as a weapon against the State. The GITMO terrorists were using hunger-strikes as a method of Jihad against the West, and thus it was in our interest to forced-feed as a counter-measure. Prisoners in ADX have used hunger-striking as a protest against the State and calls for release, I say FORCE-FEED.
This is why it's not contradictory for me to be against forced-feeding for the sake of keeping one alive, but for forced-feeding if it's used a weapon for the State. People can have complex views on individual topics and a catch-all approach only suits the mind of an autist.
