When i was 7 years old my mom always reminded me to brush my teeth, and I did.

Eventually she stopped reminding me, assuming that I'd keep doing it by myself, but I didn't. I just stopped brushing my teeth the day she stopped telling me to.

Months went by.

After a few months I realised that i should probably start brushing again because I remembered that my mum told me its good for me, so I started brushing again.

If I hadn't randomly started brushing my teetch again on my own, I could've went years without brushing and my mother would have had no idea.

Surprisingly, nothing bad happened to my teeth, and my teeth are only slightly yellow to this day. I guess toothpaste is a scam anyway.

I did the same. I have autism too. I hated brushing my teeth (still do but have to do it lmao) i went months without brushing them when i was a child.

Did it affect your teeth negatively? It did nothing to my teeth

Never had a cavity in my life. My teeth are quite thin though due to all the acidic drinks and never brushing them

Is this really an autist trait? Seems more like a general depression trait. I stop taking care of myself (showering/brushing my teeth) when I feel depressed for example.

Also obligatory @Saysitsover tag

Same, although now I brush twice a day after getting my teeth cleaned at the dentist.

I used to do this but started brushing them consistently recently, it's just something you gotta do.

I stopped brushing my teeth almost 3 years ago. Went to the dentist recently and he told me my teeth were clean and fine

Im on the complete other side I have problems fall asleep if I know that I didnt brush my teeth after eating

I went most of my adolescence without doing it

When you're younger it typically takes longer for plaque to build up.

I guess because you tend to be healthier.

Honestly I wouldn't neglect dental hygiene and dentist visits. It's not worth it in the long run.

If your teeth are slightly yellow, it might be natural. It's just how teeth are for some people. It might also be that you have plaque or other grime. Usually sanding helps with this, or scaling. Usually a trip to the dentist's office solves the problem. In extreme cases, teeth whitening might be used, but it causes permanent damage to your teeth, so advise caution where necessary.

I brush my teeth twice a day, but I'm currently suffering from bruxism and stress-related teeth grinding. I'm shredding my teeth away in my sleep. :fuk:

That has nothing to do with "autism" you're just a filthy person
