You just said it it is a spectrum and many of the autists here are high functioning so undiagnosed high functioning autists are i think pretty common. I am a diagnosed aspie and i diagnosed at a late age when i first started to go to a psychiatrist. I know aspergers is different than autism but you have serious communication problems to be diagnosed when you are 1-3 years old and i think that is not the case with most autists here. VirginAutistManlet is a member here who diagnosed very lately as well if i am not wrong.Autism is really apparent from a young age. It's a spectrum, of course, but signs of autism are apparent when you are 1-2, no matter how you look like. So saying that enough good-looking men go undiagnosed to skew statistics to this extent is laughable.
