Atheists, did you ever pray to god in a half-assed or serious way?

I did, when I was like 17 or 18. I've never actually believed in god but tried to tell him to make me better looking in the next few years but it was very half-assed and I didn't even believe what I said myself. Fast forward 9 years and here I am.
