I see a thread that I agree with and my response would be a mere acknowledgement of the truth. Then if I respond, which I often don't as you can see by my postminning stats, I end up participating in a small subdebate because I'm autistic and I found an opinion that goes against my wealth of knowledge that I absolutely get an irrational urge to correct. Then the subdebate either dies out in a reply from the quoted user at most or rages on against the dying of the light and overtakes the main discussion in a process known as thread derailment.
