Has there really anything changed for the better in the last 60 years? I don't think so. I still get called a chink. I still get discriminated against in employment and college admissions.
I still can't enter interracial relationships since women of all races find Asian men unattractive. Even though I'm born here I'm still not American and I'll never be. At least in segregated America I wouldn't have trouble finding a relationship since interracial marriage was looked down upon and Asian women were expected to marry Asian men like me, unlike now where they are free to ditch us for white men. That's a net positive for me.
