I studied in a Christian primary school; bible study went something like that.
We began learning the Old testament, so like the planet was created in few days, Eve and Adam, Moses split the sea, salt pillar for looking back, David killing goliath with a slingshot and so on.
In higher grade came Jesus. He was born in Bethlehem and the story became "warmer"? Jesus walked on water, healed the blind, fiipped the tables of the temple, etc etc. Then he got betrayed and crucified, and resurrected in a few days.
The final grades focused on real life event and some bits of modern geopolitics of Palestine and Israel.
I don't really remember it all; but it was basically the schooling I received.
So to you, how important is Old testament these days?
