That said, if the only reason you don't want a girlfriend any more is because you have accepted you don't get it, I think it doesn't really count as "not want it", it's more like "not actively pursuing any more", and then you still are an incel. The main question is: If for some reason, even without you trying, some girl/woman your age, your looksmatch, your intelligencematch (or with some other reasonable tradeoffs) etc. would want to start a relationship with you, would you accept?
