Tbh this year Christmas looks good. Due to coronavirus family meeting is cancelled so it will be just me, parents and aunt who lives in the same city. No annoying cousins or relatives, neither traveling long distances No hearing stupid political/news debates in the table. Also like always good food and staying warm at home so this years Christmas is kinda promising. In most Christmas Eve I just LDAR and I'm bored af while the rest of the family has fun, and I don't have any excuse like my cousin with aspies so I have to stay in the dining room with everyone else.

What I mean is, I'm Christmasing it up right now.

But you're right, is it a proper Christmas if Christmas Eve/Day isn't somehow "more special" than the other days of the season? I can drink warm beverages and grow fat and admire pretty lights all month, but if I don't do something EXTRA special on Christmas Day, was it really Christmas Day?

I can't think of anything special to do that day.
