Are wasps really as bad as they are made out to be? Or just misunderstood?

I swear wasps have been made out to be these gigantic assholes, but I’ve had so many encounters with them that never ended with stings.

And I’ve had them crawl on me for many seconds, I’ve even let them land and crawl on my fingers before no issue.

Is their aggression more so caused from people flailing at them like spergs, and from people getting too close to their nests? Or have I just been encountering wasps from not so aggressive colonies?

I feel like I’m more likely to be stung by a normie or foid than a wasp . In fact I have, and it hurts so bad.

The wasps i encounter are alright, they don't attack me just like with bees, spiders or really anything else. I don't even swat away mozzies

I'll spray flies if they enter the house because they're annoying and more populus
