Recently there have been elections in my country and the results have changed nothing. Everything is still the same, apart from the euphoria preceding the election day... It's like people cares about politics only a couple of days every 4 years, the days where the most important topics and problems are discussed. The rest of the time, politicians talk only about irrelevant shit.
I think EU elections have this problem too, I personally don't know anyone who cares about the existence of EU outside electoral cycle.
