I do think they're real. There are men with very low, maybe even non-existent libidos and who need very little social interaction with others.

Theoretically you can become completely asexual by increasing prolactin and serotonin. SSRI's actually make you less likely to fall in love because what most people believe to be 'love' or 'crush' is just a wave of dopamine hitting your brain, causing you to be obsessed with the person you 'have a crush on.' Serotonin and dopamine have an inverse relationship so you could become totally aromantic with enough serotonin in your brain. And coincidentally, women have higher serotonin baselines than men. Coincidence?

It makes sense why women are so calculative when it comes to love and romance.

There will some other types of sufferings these men would be going through as ultimately it is through trauma.
If it was real, there would be some successful person, celibrity,politician who would identify himself as asexual person. But not a single such person is seen in real life.
No known person has ever identified himself as an asexual person.
