I think its a bit mixed, Alot of asians are browner than those in anime but because asians value lighter skin alot of the anime figures you see in the anime are supposedly japanese but are white in skin and not brownish asian, So they put those forward first, Asians are trying to look more white, Thats why you see so many asian prettyboys and girls due to surgeries and white skin bleaching, You can also become white at the doctor and change skin pigmentation.

You just can look at their eyes. Almost all of them have big, wide-opened eyes with blue/green coloured pupil whilst literally 99% of chinks have typical chink eyes.

Yes, anime has Disney influence and all Disney characters were white. You don’t typically see actual Asian looking people unless it’s stylized that way.
