After this war is over and the SAF has won, what is to be done about the Baggara Arabs? As it stands a lot of them are basically the perfect attack dogs for gulf Arabs like UAE, a large population of desperate nomads who’ll do anything for money and will gleefully kill their African neighbours.

This is water, but there will be no peace until ethnic boundaries settle and a balance of power is formed à la the Balkans and the Caucasus.

Take the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict as an example; it dragged on for decades just to fizzle away like a dream after all of the Armenians were deported.

Realistically, people have to leave, die, or be subjugated; ideally, these roles will be assumed by "them" and not "us".

Some outcomes will be more fair than others, but I don't think a fair outcome is either possible or even desirable.

I don't think they are mentally diseased people who fight solely due to their condition, if that is what you are implying.

Not saying that education won't help, but they have rational incentives to war others and not enough disincentives, although that is none of my or your concern.

Realistically, people have to leave, die, or be subjugated; ideally, these roles will be assumed by "them" and not "us".

The Baggara have way too much land and manpower, not the same as marginal Armenians. How would you expel them

I’m interested after learning a bit about Sudan.

It might be naive but maybe education could deal with their Arab supremacy and ‘kill the abeed’ mindset but then again they live in desert with no resources and war will always be viable way to plunder and steal for themselves. Arab supremacy is just an excuse

Honestly Ig it’s best for Darfurian Africans to just leave and try to immigrate elsewhere for good. Nobody wants them in Sudan it seems. Brutal. As long as they have nothing to protect themselves they will just be easy target for rape and slaughter

Even if SAF wins, RSF has still looted, displaced and slaughtered throughout Sudan. Considering Sudan was already a shithole before the war IDK what they’re going to do now. And RSF can always raid again in a decade’s time
