The Roman empire and Persian empire fought each so long and hard to exhaustion, bankrupcy , no more fighting men, no more resources. Totaly and morally depleted. Even though the Roman Empire was victorious over the Persians when the Arabs saw the utter complete weakness of both Empires it was like taking candy from a baby they simply had to just march in, it was really that simple
