It was predicted to last for only 90 days but instead, the tough bugger went for 14 years.
Through, its journey it brought back untold amounts of achievements, including finally sealing the hypothesis that water might have once existed on the barren planet
But, alas the same fate that took its brother ,Spirit, awaited it.
6 months ago, it was enraptured by a dust storm, the largest Martian dust storm till this date
NASA scientists tried over 800+ times to contact the rover but there was no return signal
In this week, it was officially declared dead.
Its final message:
"My batteries are low and it's getting dark"
