i dont get the souls like genre, the whole game is basically small fights, then a giant boss, again small fights another giant boss fight. The giant boss fight has 100x more life.

is just remembering patters, something im well above average on. most fights give you visual clues to when a attack is coming. i remember killing of some boss in bloodborne that i was told was hard as shit in one go. from-software games have style thats it, gameplay is shit.

SS isshin. The rest of the bosses weren't that bad with maybe the exception of lady butterfly in my first run because my attack power was low and I wasn't that good at the game yet.

Quit after beating the first boss, General Oniwa. It was just too hard. I saw no point in torturing myself further. Wish the creators of the game added difficulty options cause i liked the game

Yes, I played it, got the platinum trophy, replayed it over and over until I reached around NG+20, did the gauntlets when they added them, and beat Genichiro Ashina no damage with demon bell and no Kuro's charm on that maximum NG+.
This was years ago, I don't play videogames anymore other than chess on my phone and I'm shit at it.

The hardest boss was Isshin Sword Saint in the base game, and Inner Owl after the free update.

Also, I thought that Great Shinobi Owl was harder than Owl father, because for some reason their AI is different and Owl Father lets you attack him first while the other doesn't.
