anyone know how i can learn it better?

You can watch a guide but those are usually really long. What I did is just watch a little bit to just learn the basics like making a front line, what stats mean, and what to research. Then after that look up OP division/tank/ and plane templates and just play against the AI on rookie difficulty. 99% of shit on your screen really doesn't matter that much in hoi4 (political power, stability, improve relations, ect.) so just playing to get a feel for what's important and what's not is what is going to help you get better.

In my experience, yes. The only paradox game I've been able to play is Stellaris, all the others are too overwhelming for me and I can't play them.
