hits the public consciousness a tsunami of new members occur.

My guess why is...

Dudes LOOK UP THE TERM, do a scant few minutes of research and say,

"Golly! I'M AN INCEL TOO!"

While i disagree WITH killing random stragglers, i do think free publicity is a good thing.

Some old scumbags once said a few times...

"There's no such thing as bad publicity."
