i hate both boomer and zoomer memes. i fucking cringe when someone from my class sends me one of those reddit tier "epic dank spicy memes" that i would have found funny if i was like 10 years old. but then i also cringe when i go on facebook to see these old farts attempt at "meming" (if you can even call it that). the only thing that makes me laugh is irony, inside jokes, and fringe internet things

In-group perception is really accentuated in gen Y and Z. They'll open up when surrounded by their own kind. I attribute it to the way modern parenting has been fucked or absent. You never know when a boomer might snap at you for dropping the facade.
