Finally found a good situation to use that emojiqwerty master race![]()
Are there any benefits to using it?nah i'm team dvorak
I was always bad at typing on qwerty and when I switched it made my typing way faster, went from 40 wpm to around 160 at my peak, it also is a bit easier on my fingers over long typing, sucks for games though some games don't translate the conversion very well so I have to switch back and forth, I've completely forgot qwerty thoughAre there any benefits to using it?
you like it? I've thought about learning it before same with workman just to have a mixture of keyboard layouts after I re-learn qwertyi use colemak and workman![]()
yeah i liked it better then dvorak it feels better ive tried basically all the main keyboard layoutsyou like it? I've thought about learning it before same with workman just to have a mixture of keyboard layouts after I re-learn qwerty

using this website it took me like a week to be able to type without looking at an onscreen keyboard https://gnusenpai.net/colemakclub/huh, maybe i'll give it a go before qwerty again been on dvorak for so long now it's time for change. How long it take you to get used to it?
not bad, thats about how long it took me to be familar with dvorak then about 1-2 weeks before gaining a good consistent speed, I'll probably give it a try. how long you been using it? i've been on dvorak for about 9 years nowusing this website it took me like a week to be able to type without looking at an onscreen keyboard https://gnusenpai.net/colemakclub/

Dvorak is such a good layout imo, worth a try if you have some time to spare its easier on the wrist and hands than qwerty for meydco co mf m.ooai. cb ekrpat < as you can see I have no idea. QWERTY is better
awesomeI used to listen to dvorak
isn't everything?Waste of time
Yeah. I looked up dvorak and the other... Never heard of them before.isn't everything?
I like dvorak, if you type a lot which I tend to do since I sit at my pc all day it helps the wrist at least it does for me, been on dvorak for a while nowYeah. I looked up dvorak and the other... Never heard of them before.
I would not be suprised that there was a better way to type
The only time I can type fast is on a full sized keyboard writing books and stories that flow.I like dvorak, if you type a lot which I tend to do since I sit at my pc all day it helps the wrist at least it does for me, been on dvorak for a while now
HA, that's understandable, I'm a finger pusher on qwerty completely forgot it, and I can only really type well on 60% or less, currently using a 40% keyboard, sometimes I use a split keyboardThe only time I can type fast is on a full sized keyboard writing books and stories that flow.
With a later spell cheek lol.
These days I'm just a finger pusher

cool, i use it all the timeI can type on it, just don't use it
colemak is supposed to be the best, I tried switching some time ago but the qwerty muscle memory was too stronganyone here use dvorak or does everyone here just use qwerty? or maybe something else like colemak, or workman?
160? That's pretty good man, did you do it on a 1 minute test?went from 40 wpm to around 160 at my peak
my 1 minutes about 140-150ish I do slow down the longer the test, but shorter test I can peak quite a bit higher depends on the day and high much drugs im on160? That's pretty good man, did you do it on a 1 minute test?
fair enough, i'm thinking about giving colemak a trycolemak is supposed to be the best, I tried switching some time ago but the qwerty muscle memory was too strong
Same for me, I slow down on longer tests because I get pains and my accuracy goes down, on short tests like 15 seconds I'm able to do 240 with some luck, but I'm horrible at accuracy at long testsmy 1 minutes about 140-150ish I do slow down the longer the test, but shorter test I can peak quite a bit higher depends on the day and high much drugs im on
Basically the same, my accuracy is pretty good but anything past about 160-170ish and it falls apart never been able to crack the 200 mark yet but maybe one day, I practice here and there on long test only now to break the habit of always using short testSame for me, I slow down on longer tests because I get pains and my accuracy goes down, on short tests like 15 seconds I'm able to do 240 with some luck, but I'm horrible at accuracy at long tests
200 is pretty hard, it took me a few monthsBasically the same, my accuracy is pretty good but anything past about 160-170ish and it falls apart never been able to crack the 200 mark yet but maybe one day, I practice here and there on long test only now to break the habit of always using short test
