I used to use this site back in 2019/2020 but I don't know how good it is for Play Station games because I only used it for GB GBC and GBA games.

Retroarch has a pretty steep learning curve. It's good, but it took me some time to properly learn how to use it. I think it's better if he uses a standalone emu for now. Like this

Good point. OP use this. In the future if you plan on using multiple consoles Retroarch can emulate anything from the pre-2007 generation.

Ps1 is one of the easiest consoles to emulate. Even cheap Chinese handhelds from Aliexpress can run it at 60FPS so even if your computer is a toaster from 2005 it shouldn't be difficult.
