Anyone feel like anything they do with women leads to disappointment?

Maybe you feel a little hopeful after having had an interaction with a woman and you think, "wow, maybe she does like me" And then it turns out she was just being friendly and is actually creep out by you when you ask her out. Or maybe something else happens like maybe a woman compliments you or touches you or sends you a certain text msg, then you look up what the specific behavior means and it turns out she actually doesn't like you, and all your prospects end up spiraling down the same drain of disappointment. It always ends up the same way.
