Anyone ever tried straightening their hair with a flat iron?

Does it work well? How often did you have to do it?

id also like to know. curly hair fucking sucks

wtf is wrong with you. Get some straighteners.

i have completely straight hair, but my friend does it. i think he has to do it daily or it will go back. it seems to work well, but he's half asian and half white so idk if it would look as natural on someone who's full black.

I'm Egyptian, my hair is only half frizzy.

then yeah it could probably look natural. I've seen middle eastern guys with straight hair.
Most middle eastern people have straight hair I think, north Africans have black ancestry so I think that's why most have curly hair.

Trying to flat iron your Jew hair?

You're a confirmed Egyptian larper.

Middle Eastern people have curly hair, not straight hair. @acnescarcel

I've always wanted curly hair. Curly blond hair would at least look pretty cool

Really curly black hair that forms a jew-fro when it gets longer than an inch is ugly though.

bro no what the fuck

Hair irons will ruin your hair texture and unless you have a complete perm you'll be in this strange quasi curly state that looks like abject shit
Just rock your natural texture

I mean if your black than a full on afro can allow you to run full on thug game

@Ryo_Hazuki You mentioned using a flat iron before, does it work well?

Yes, I have. It worked rather well however if I have greasy hair it looks worse when its straightened. Its important to for it to be ceramic .

I wish my beard was curly. It appears to be thicker that way.

I am not.

Do they? Pretty sure most Arabs have relativley straight hair, at least straighter than mine.
There are many North Africans here and they all have curly hair.

I said north Africans have curly hair, I meant middle easterners usually have straighter hair.

My bad. Well middle easterners have wavy hair from what I've seen.

St. Marc Lepine has curly hair too, looks kinda silly.

I haven't done it in a while but when I did it I started off doing it everyday then reduced it to every other day. You'll need to use a heat protectant.

curly hair is shit trust me. it looks so rough and messy. straight hair is what all the chads have, that thick line above their head.
i have curly hair kek

looks like this rn

Just go to the beauty parlor and gab with all the gals and get a mani/pedi while getting your hair flat ironed. This is the gayest thread ever.

I believe you said you were Egyptian, so you have a very similar hair texture as me. I hear brazilian blowouts or keratin treatments are good ways to get straight hair, but apparently they can damage your hair and make it fall out faster so I've been holding off.

My hair is mostly straight but has somewhat curly ends
Is straightening worth the effort? It does hide my subhuman temples asymmetry but idk if I'm able to do it everyday

Seems like a huge pain to do it everyday and having to apply heat protectant too.
