Anyone Else Work Im Customer Service?

I work at both PetsMart and Kohl’s.
PetsMart is chill, because I get to handle and talk about animals, but Kohl’s is a living hell.
I’ve been complained about at both jobs for “not looking friendly” and “being awkward”.
It stings a bit to my pride, because from my perspective, I’ve only tried my hardest to be friendly and helpful...

Yes and I haven’t done well in both past jobs and in my current job. I hate the idea of customer service because I’m a moody and neurotic person. I can’t bring myself to just smile when I’m upset. I’m straightforward with my feelings. At my last jobs I would get complaints from coming across as aggressive and unfriendly. I can’t control my impulses though.
