how do you cut the back of the head and the sides?

my biggest problem is the back, have problem making it more "gradient".

Easy, Use the shaver and a clipper guard, I used 12mm on the back and the sides, The barber usually use 11mm but its what i have, I like to have a little hair there, The top of the head is thick but i make it so i can comb it over to one side, Shave little by little on the back and take many turns

but how do you ensure its not a sharp dropoff from the longer part to the shorter part?

what i mean is, wat if one uses say 16mm for the longer part, then 9mm for the shorter part (on the back), the 7mm difference would cause a sharp dropoff in length

Ive been cutting my own hair for the past 4 years. I use a razor comb taught to me by the only good barber ive ever been to. Since I moved I cant go back to him and every other barber will fuck it up.

I still have to rock bieber style hair because my forehead is absolutely massive. I used to have short hair but was relentlessly bullied for my giant forehead.

When I eventually go bald ill have no choice but to rope.

Hiding a forehead is good with bowl haircut tho, But youll still get gigamogged by smaller foreheads
