Slightly off topic : it's one of the reasons I stopped reading a fantasy series of novels (Malazan Book of the Fallen). Characters fuck left and right, and you don't see the development. You just start a page, and voila --- X and Y sharing beds. I hate reading that or seeing that on screen, because it's a reminder that it's not about "being smooth", it's not a "numbers game", it's not about confidence. You either can or can't.
