You must have been bullied as well. At least that is my case when I was younger, it burns into you.

I constantly stutter and mispronounce words and am hyper-aware of my impediments and sometimes I need to stop speaking, breathe for a couple of seconds and retry. I also speak in a low tone and people often can't understand well. What years of negative conditioning will do to a motherfucker.

I absolutely have been bullied, quite badly. Yes I leave seconds long pauses between words in the same sentence and sometimes I even say the wrong word even then.

Holy shit bro I have the exact same thing, and like you I didn't really have a good childhood I was fat in elementary school so I spoke little and I was made fun of most of the time I told myself that my stuttering was maybe genetic but the fact that it could be a consequence to my life as a loser makes me so sad how much society has failed us

Exactly same bro, I can't speak properly even if I concentrate, when I speak slowly I have trouble breathing, I block, I can spend 6 seconds with my mouths open without any words coming out, I can't speak anymore at times

I think stuttering can come from all kinds of places, but for most of us on this site it probably came from extremely negative early experiences, whether directly related to people criticising our speech or not, or whether or not we can remember those experiences. stopped giving a shit about normalfag opinions. talked less, but make it count. talk slow. believe in yourself when you open your mouth. I think my biggest issue was being ignored or made fun of when speaking so I wanted to get it over with asap. now I know whatever I say is golden, especially compared to normfilth babble and I act it

also, PUAcelling may've helped. it didn't do much but I think it was good for this one thing
