Used minox for about 6 months but stopped as I didn't wanna keep poisoning myself and didn't wanna be dependent on it for the rest of my life. All my baby hairs fell out within 2 weeks of stopping, but I'm glad I stopped.

In hindsight, I started balding when I was around 16. I didn't accept it at the time, but I remember trying various hair styles in high school, and one time I tried slicking my hair back, and I got a comment about how I was balding. Part of me must have realized that was true though, as I remember it over 2 decades later.

I didn't fully accept I was balding until I was 19 and I saw the top of my head on a security camera monitor. I got on finasteride and minoxidil right away, then in my late 20s I got on dutasteride and oral spironolactone. I also got a hair transplant a few years ago. Now I have the appearance of a full head of hair to anyone who isn't aspie-analyzing my hairline.

Doesn't it cause ED and other hormonal imbalances? I currently don't even consider taking it cuz of the insane side effects. And if I start minoxidil I will have to continue it until I die

I started noticing it at 15 going into 16 with my receding hairline and I didn’t think much of it at the time til I was 17 and realized the fucking top was thinning out so I hopped on fin and minoxidil which didn’t do jack and I was using it consistently for a year and it was just getting worse and worse so at around 18 going into 19 I just accept it and I buzz it off

I’m waiting til it stops balding so I can get a hair transplant
