I think about getting an electric saw. Can't decide between bandsaw, hand buzzsaw with home build table or a table buzzsaw.
Sawing planks from smaller logs is easier on the bandsaw, right?
But a Buzzsaw is better for large boards.
I'd also like to do small stuff for architecture scale modelling in 1/48. Band saw is faster, easier and safer for small stuff, but switching in the finer correct fir that band seems like a big hazzle.
What is cheaper? How much watt should I get? Building your own tablesaw seems to be the pro/purist thing to do, but is it really better?
Doesn't seem cheaper and dual purpose use as handsaw seems a hazzle as well as you would have to unscrew it from the table each time. Also I would prolly have to buy a router to build it?
Maybe get a useD table saw?
Some cheaper table table saws seem pretty fragile.
So far I have a jig saw and a sabre saw.
