Imagine growing up as the only black kid in a white town, seeing all that trash on TV all the time, then going out in public knowing that that is what people associate you with because of the color of your skin. Imagine being asked all the time why you don't "sound black", and having people act nervously when first meeting you in person after only hearing you on the phone. Imagine slowly sinking into your chair and wishing you were invisible as the teacher drones on about slavery and Jim Crow, all while your white classmates keep whispering to eachother and shooting you strange glances.

In a way, being a high IQ black man is liberating, in that you are unburdened by group identification and the distorted sense of self that that brings. A practcioner of egoism is benefitted by feeling shame towards his heritage, so that any connection between himself and others is severed. Many of my beliefs and philosophies, those considered extreme and reprehensible by those I debate about them with, would not be possible for me to hold were I to feel a sense of kinship with anyone. They say "do unto others...", but there are no others, I am all alone, and I'd have things no other way.
