Even as a high school kid I was very interested in linguistics and wanted to make it my career. My ethnic parents of course beat my ass. So I wasted my life in a STEM school and rot there. Pretty sure the sheer stress and sleepless nights made me lose a few years of my lifetime kek. fuck STEM

It's an interesting topic for sure, but probably not suitable to pursue professionally because of a lack of job prospects.

Yeah I guess being a professor writing 500 pages a day isn't exactly the best career but still it was (and still is!) a passion of mine
