I like games from 6th and 7th. Only thing from 8th I really like is 3DS.

ds/3ds games would benefit the most from getting remade

I'd like to see something like the 3DS come back with updated hardware and graphics, the old 3DS was neat but the 3D gimmick got old fast. Plus only a few games really took full advantage of the 3D feature like Super Mario 3D world and Monster Hunter.
Tho Nintendo will find a way to fuck it up, I'm sure

6th and 7th are the best generations, but the 6th overall.
And to answer the question, I think it's pointless ot await for a messiah of videogames. I mean the og survival horror duo got remakes recently, Silent Hill 2 and RE4, even Oblivion had a looksmaxx, big time games which didn't shine pretty much recently.
If I had to name one though, I'd say: God of War 1 remake or GTA San Andreas Stories, that would absolutely crack it.
