I don't necessarily wish for anything, but I wonder if things would be different.
I hear about how jocks always ruled the school back then. How girls were all over them. I've watched videos of basketball and football games from the '80's from my general area, and the gyms and stadiums are FUCKING PACKED. No one gives a shit about high school sports anymore.
But back then the entire towns would go to the games, because there was nothing else to do. Imagine the entire town gets to see you play, unless you're completely deformed a girl wants you just because you're an athlete. You marry your high school sweetheart and live happily ever after.
