I just watched lord of the rings all 3 parts really liked it any similar movies ?

this shit felt so forced compared to the first trilogy. They took what was a fairy tale for 5 yo kids and turned into a fucking Epic Turbo High Fantasy Shit

Dune(2021) & Dune: Part II(2024)

King of the Ring

What is 5yo kid fantasy, hobbit or lotr?

So you say, hobbit is for 5yo kids? Why.
the story is rather short, the plot is not complex, there's only one POV. Just a story about a guy who defeats some fairy beast, nothing more to it on the surface level. Like Alice in Wonderland. It comes across as something my mom would read to me when I was a kid. But she only read to me some harry potter or other gay shit like that.

I liked alice in wonderland 2010

If I remember correctly: Tolkien's editor's letter to the British publisher that would eventually publish the book said "It was an adventure tale suitable for ages 6-10 year-old children".
Or something like that.

definitely not the hobbit movie trilogy. absolute shit in comparison and you will regret wathcing it

yeah, i've never thought of it as anything more than a short story for kids, this is so dumb that they went ahead and made a fucking trilogy of a scale of lord of the rings or something.
