in catholic doctrine this is wrong. it is true that some peoples lifes are easier on earth then others(that is obvious to all),but catholic doctrine affirms that there each person will be rewarded according to what they have done in this life and what they have merited.
for example if you have suffered more or done more for christ,you will be rewarded more then someone who did less.now everyone in heaven will be permently happy,i just want to make that clear.i guess the best way to put it is that two cups can be of different sizes but be both filled.both will be filled with happiness but both are different. my feats will never be comparable to saint francis or saint joseph but at the end of the day it doesn't really matter as christ didn't call me to fill saint francis place in heaven but to fill my own place in heaven. my feats will never be comparable to a million saints who were martyrs or who died in hospital beds filled with pain and gave it all to christ,instead of cursing him to high heaven like a million people have done. and yeah many of those saints never had the ease of life that chad or stacy got,but when they are rewarded with eternal gifts(which are also million times more pleasurable then anything found on earth) instead of short pleasurable ones,even if you are a degenerate it should be easy to see which one is better.
temptation doesn't equal sin.one can be tempted( christ himself was tempted),but it only becomes a sin when one consents his will to it(which christ never did despite the great temptations he had). so what i said had nothing hypocritical about it.a man can have temptations sure,but christ gives us weapons to not consent to that temptation.our own bodies are acting against us and even own our minds to a certain degree,but its still our decision to consent against it or not. if what ethniccel said was true,then all of us are already condemned to hell(no man can obey two masters),and life on earth is totally pointless,as there is no reason for christ to withhold punishement from us.in fact it would be even more merciful for him to condemmn us now,as the more sins we commit the more we shall be punished. but it's clear that we are not all in hell. grab a copy of the council of trent if you want a good compilation of the faith and it's theology.
