Yesterday i finished the promised neverland. It's the first anime i ever watched till the end. Do you know any good animes similiar to that one? Or just overall some good ones, someone who doesn't really watch anime can enjoy.

How can you watch shitty cartoons grow up

By similar, do you mean a similar theme, a similar genre?
If you want mind games I recommend Death Note if you haven't already watched it. There's also No Game No Life (although the bright colours in that show make my eyes hurt), Zankyou no Terror, Code Geass.
If you are willing to consider a videogame, there's The Devil on G-String:

I haven't seen it so idk what's similar to it, but it sounds cool. I might wanna watch it

Try k-on!

@Ritalincel is in it (free him)

dont watch gay porn

I dunno but I think made in abyss, attack on titan, neon genesis evangelion, devilman crybaby and welcome to the nhk are very good
also avater lord of the elements or however they call it in englisch. western production i think but still basically animu

And for movies i like Your name, koe no katachi, jin roh the wolfbrigade, garden of words, cencoroll and ghiblie movies fe

I'd liike something with a similiar theme tbh. Idk why i enjoyed promised neverland so much. I never were able to watch any other animes. I tried to watch attack on titan but i didn't like it at all.

I also dislike Attack on Titan, never understood the hype behind it.
I like the shows I've listed more than The Promised Neverland, so give them a try man!
Watch maybe a couple of episodes of each to know if you'll like them.
I strongly recommend Death Note, it was the first anime show I watched.

I enjoyed the promised neverland as well id say death note is all i can think off

I need new waifu material ngl

Mermaid Melody pitchi pitchi pitch.the only one i have watched in my life

I recommend steins; gate btw

Death Note

I wish I was the main character in the death note, gives you power to kill anyone you want just by writing their names on the book.

It's a great one, though. Complex, and very well written. One of the very few high IQ animes out there tbh.

Watch the English dubbed version. I think it is the only anime where people agree the dubbed version is superior to the subbed one.

hmm the only similar ones i can think of right now are attack on titan and darling in the franxx

Death note, code geass, psycho pass, no game no life, kill la kill, 90s berserk

If you want something really palatable then I’d recommend something like my hero academia

I tried to watch attack on titan but i didn't like it at all.
It’s becomes really good in season 3

reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
its so over rip :feelsrope: dis why you guys are inkel
tbh

Erased is short and self contained. I would also recommend Full Metal Alchemist which is a bit longer at 64 episodes, but it is worth it. Samurai Champloo and Cowboy Bepop are also pretty good for introducing people to anime because they aren't rife with the usual tropes. I also bet they will both make you nostalgic.

I see that you have a high anime power level, what would you recommend to someone whose only animes he really liked (as in liking all of it) were Gunbuster and Kodomo no Jikan?

I've never watched Gunbuster.
I haven't watched Kodomo no Jikan either, but I did read the manga. There aren't many similar works that I know of...
The manga Yuzumori-san also focuses on a relationship between an older person and a younger one, but it's more on the cute side and features two girls. The Friendly Winter, a korean comic, also has an unusual relationship between two people of different ages.
You probably won't like those two as much as KnJ, but they're still nice, sweet stories to pass the time.

I see. I strongly recommend it, it's extremely short and the best anime ever IMO.

Yeah, I mentioned Kojika thinking more about the manga, but the anime was also ok minus the sudden ending they had to make in order for it to only have 12 episodes.

Yeah, I've tried to look for similar works mostly unsuccessfully. The best I could find was the manga Miman Renai, which whilst shorter, simpler and way less daring than Kojika, was enjoyable. I failed to find anything else comparable to these. Kojika was very groundbreaking, to the point it caused controversy on the internet like the TVtropes ban and whatnot.

But any seinen drama with young cute girls would be cool to try I guess.

I'll check them, thanks!
