I heard about that aswell, something about her being his wife. The whole thing just felt like lazy writing to me; all of the characters lack depth and Asuka for the example feels nothing like the original one.

I previously did not want to watch anime because it looks like suifuel with lots of couples stuff and foid shit but I feel like having a American psycho crash out and want some distractions. Any good ones? I saw one named black clover and it got good reviews

Cowboy Bebop is the only one I've ever really enjoyed

Forget about the couple stuff and foid shit. Start with fullmetal alchemist: brotherhood. Then try death note. Black clover is shonen.
