I would recommend starting with popular ones like Naruto, Attack on Titan, and Dragon Ball.
I have watched a good bit of Naruto in the past. Haven’t finished it yet though. The end half of Shippuden gets kinda boring. Only ever watched DBZ Kai. Attack On Titan I’ll have to check out though.
Because the anime is ass. But if you don't wanna read manga, AOT probably has the best adaptation. Or something like jjk or fmab.

I haven’t finished any anime. I have watched a few shows throughout my life. But I’ve never been invested in it. I’ve seen some Naruto, DBZ, Cowboy Bebop, and that’s about it
What is it that you’re looking for in anime exactly?
manga is the only good one
Anime: Akame Ga Kill (Dark Fantasy, my favorite), Sword Art Online (if you're a normie and young).
Manga: Seven Deadly Sins (amazing artwork), One Piece (if you don't mind length)

I can't speak to a lot of the more modern releases, but I know the classic stuff like the back of my hand.
If you want to laugh your butt off, you can't beat Ranma1/2 (OG DUB). Tenchi Muyo! is a great intro into the harem genre (My favorite is the OG TV series). The Shin Chan stuff that was dubbed by Funimation back in the day was hilarious. Golden Boy is an OVA that is only 6 episodes, risque for the time, but now pretty tame, is funny. Speaking of funny dubs, don't miss Ghost Stories.
Yu Yu Hakusho gets my vote for best all-round entertainment. It's got a bit of everything in it that's fun.

Seriously asking, whats even good about this anime ? I tried watching it and i almost slept in. The only appeal i could see is if you are into lolies, but even then there are better alternatives

I'm not sure about the best to recommend but my favorite anime is DBZ and one piece .I’m a noob myself, but at least I’ve seen the entire DBZ series, and I’m all caught up with one piece. Those are both classic action anime. If you like that kind of thing, then I would recommend those.
