I cannot watch subs the voices are way to annoying and I just find it goofy is this just me or no?

There also was that whole situation with the Dandandan English VAs saying stupid shit like how the characters are black or whatever the fuck
This sort of retarded 50iq behaviour is absent from Jap VAs, their celebrity culture is repressive but I would say it does them wonders in avoiding controversy

my favourite anime movie was dubbed with a female celeb who became a meme of people photoshopping her shoulders and making her wide and the meme prevented me from watching the movie with any semblance of immersion, so i swapped to sub and haven't switched back
