Experiment Almost got hit by a car

I was riding down, accelerating speed with my bike. As i was riding down i saw a person i knew by my right side,as i came near i realize who it was and as soon as i past him, I said bye and he said bye too, if i can remmeber he waved his hand. Then drove straight for a few meters, and there was a three way in my right side the rightside was going down the hill, and my left side was going up the hill, i was ofc going straight, with accelerating speed, when i got to the middle a truck coming down from the left almost hit me, He or she seemed to have noticed me, and hit the brakes, i also hit the brakes of my bike, and it stopped ( shift) in front of the truck.
If the truck driver hadn't hit the brakes, i could have been dead or badly injured.
And my last words would have been "bye"
And i had headphones on
