Venting almost got fired today for driving by my coworker's house.

I posted about the original nothing burger a few months ago; basically my coworker was having a party and she invited everyone except me. at the time I wasn't sure if she meant to include me, because she invited someone right in front of me, and said her address out loud and everything. I realize, now, how stupid I was for thinking she might've been talking to me too. but I'm a retard.

anyway, on the night of the party, I drove by the front of her house, then down the back lane. I didn't stop but I drove kind of slow and saw all of my coworkers sitting around a fire, laughing, drinking, being obnoxious and having fun. then I went home. nothing fucking happened.

then today, MONTHS after that, I got pulled into the office first thing in the morning. my boss told me a foid coworker accused me of stalking and I legitimately had no idea what he was on about. then he said, "she says she has you on camera driving around the front and back of her house" and I realized who he was talking about. I basically explained the situation and by the end of the meeting, he didn't really know what to do. she obviously made it sound worse than it was and I clearly didn't do anything wrong. so he gave me a "verbal warning" and told me to keep my distance from her.

luckily I don't have to be around her much since I'm usually on different job sites. but this is fucking crazy. I don't understand how she knew (I was sure no one noticed me) or why it was only brought up now. I'm on break right now and I can't calm down, my heart is racing. I'll probably have to just call-in for the rest of my shift because I can't fucking do this.
