The logic is sound. Tbqh the trend is already towards smaller % of the population paying for tax anyway. In 2008 Mitt Romney famously said 47% of US population pays 0 income tax. That figure is getting larger every year with technology making human labor redundant. While you are figuring this out everyone else will be neetbuxing ahead of you.

And while going to prison to hurt the government sounds appealing you have to understand it only works if all non-chads do it at the same time. Even if all of us on the forum went to prison it wouldn't put a small dent on the government purse. They can always raise taxes or print the money out of thin air with central banks.

Jail costs 106€.
I went 4 months in psychiatry myself and it has cost 60k€. This doesn not include 21K€ for the therapist, and a few medicine.

But it's not important to try to asylummax. Covid has largely increased the percentage of people suffering severe depression, from 0.7% to 20% now. Many have also developped PTSD. In addition, 30% of "new" people in psychiatry had no psychiatric past before the Covid pandemic.

Which means our mental health system is probably about to collapse due to the pandemic.
