Arrests are police brutality.
Police contradict the right to life, liberty, and happiness. It contradicts the right to life because prisons reduce life expectancy according to prisonpolicy.org. It also contradicts it because sometimes thugs commit suicide like Kalief Browder. Police probably cause abortion because it makes new parents too poor due to being unable to find work due to a criminal record, so they can't afford to take care of their children and resort to abortion.
It contradicts the right of happiness because prisons are segregated by sex and inmates don't get married. Marriage is associated with greater happiness.
Police and prison go against our most basic rights. It breaks the First Amendment because those who speak dissident thought and locked up. It also goes against the Second Amendment because inmates can't own guns despite the fact jailers have sometimes killed inmates. After they freed, due to regulations may not be able to purchase guns. It goes against the spirit of the 13th amendment because prisoners are paid slave wages. It goes against the 19th amendment because inmates can't vote(though this amendment should be repealed). It goes against the tenth amendment because prison is cruel punishment.
